Recientemente han aparecido dos nuevos motores de alto interés en la industria de la automoción.
Uno se llama Omega 1 y es de una desconocida empresa llamada Astron, que promete un motor ultra compacto, ultra eficiente y con un rendimiento nunca visto antes, basado en tecnología de motor rotativo y con un giro de hasta 25.000 revoluciones por minuto.
El otro Quarks, el último desarrollo de motor eléctrico de la marca Koenigsegg, realmente interesante, que mezcla tecnologías radial y axial para convertirse en un propulsor ultra compacto para apoyar el movimiento de los motores que tiene el Koenigsegg Gemera.
